Blemish/ lesion removal

Most benign (non-cancerous) skin complaints are no longer being treated by the NHS as they are deemed cosmetic procedures and are not harmful to your health. Benign lesions include warts, skin tags, nodules, hyperpigmentation and much more...

What do we treat?

How we treat them...

We offer two ways to remove your lesions/blemishes. Either by Cryotherapy (freezing) or Diathermy (heat). Cryotherapy is a very effective way of removing pigmentation, small skin tags, warts and others. Diathermy is the most cost effective way of removing lesions and has great results on lesions such as skin tags, non pigmented moles and sebaceous hyperplasia- but is not as effective on warts.  Diathermy does have more down time and may cause a scab for the first few days. You can trust you will be in safe hands, as our procedure's are undertaken by registered nurses.

CRYOTHERAPY

Benign lesions include warts, skin tags, nodules, hyperpigmentation and much more...Ear To Clear now offer cryotherapy for benign lesions using CryoIQ Pen. The device destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. That means there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue.

Treatment with the CryoIQ Pen is quick and efficient and there is minimal risk of scarring or infection. But you may require more than one session for larger lesions. We are able to treat people of any age as long as they are able to tolerate the treatment.

DIATHERMY

Advanced cosmetic procedure also known as Advanced Electrolysis is the new adaption of a well established and safety proven treatment, Electrolysis. This is an increasingly popular effective and hygienic method to remove a number of unsightly skin blemishes.

There are now over 21 different types of blemishes that can safely and effectively be treated using advanced electrolysis with out the need for surgery and very little recovery time. The treatment itself is a little uncomfortable but easily tolerated, there are minimal after effects, with a little tightness and scabbing to be expected. A consultation will be carried out to ensure it is a suitable treatment for you and to establish an appropriate treatment plan. Aftercare will be given after treatment.

Diathermy

Diathermy pricing is based on the timing of the clinician and appointment. The times below reflect the average lesions that can be removed. However, some may be easier or more difficult so actual numbers of lesions removed may vary.

Please note that the pre treatment discussion and post treatment discussion, including any dressings applied will be inclusive of the times below and not in addition.

Multiple sites and different types of lesions can be removed in one sitting, as long as they have been prepared using numbing cream.

Aftercare support and guidance is included in the prices below.
